Monochrome Fever

Hello loves, I finally have a new post for this week and it’s late but then better late than never. School work has been demanding so I’ve been trying to balance it all out and thankfully I’m getting a hang of it. I recently started reading Achebes “the trouble with Nigeria” and to be honest it opened my mind to things I’d naturally ignore like the deficiencies of intellect in the leadership of our country. Achebe in his book described anyone who’d suggest a holiday in Nigeria as ‘a masochist with exuberant taste in self violence’. Be mindful that this book was written in 1983 and that was the Nigeria then which brings me to the question are we getting worse as a country or better? 

   Regardless of the above issue I styled a monochrome checkered blouse and a pencil bodycon skirt I was going for an official look and I hope I hit the spot. My blouse was thrifted my shoes are from Primark my skirt was from H&M my purse was from Jantaminiau all on Instagram.
