Postgrad Musings

I Moved To Another Continent!

It’s currently 4:54 am London time and I haven’t slept at all (an obvious bad decision but for a great cause). The song I have on repeat is called “Baby Riddim” by an artist called “Fave”.

I’m in bed, in my messy youtube studio/ room after attempting to set up my new LED lights and rim lights for Youtube. So, you sort of get the picture. Now that I’ve given an unnecessary description of my current state let me just say Hi!!! it has been one year and 9 months since I posted on this blog yet, I pay WordPress annually through my web hosting company (StarBox Tech). I highly recommend them by the way. Saying I’ve missed writing on this platform is an understatement. Writing is one of the things that keeps me sane hence why I keep a journal.

Anyways, today I was making exciting future plans for my YouTube channel (go and subscribe if you haven’t, please) and I started reflecting on how my journey so far has been. I not so recently moved to the UK and it has been an incredible but humbling experience. I’ve had so many “firsts” in less than 9 months and I’ve grown in so many aspects of my life it’s crazy!!

This blog post is mainly to dust the cobwebs here because I feel I might soon start posting valuable content on here, not just personal musings. This is sort of an introduction to my new era. I’ll share content around navigating travel with a Nigerian passport, academia as an international student abroad and lifestyle in general. It won’t be a strict routine of uploads because I have a youtube channel I’m trying to grow and it’s a lot of work so, I can’t promise a routine. However, I can assure you that each time I upload a post it will be a banger.

I hope you’ve been good in the almost two years I was MIA and I hope you are happy and healthy? Thank you for taking the time to read this post and I hope you come back next time. I’ve attached a random updated picture of me below because you deserve the beauty lol!
