Green with envy! (how to slay in monochrome)

I’ve had tons of ideas in the past month but for some strange reason, I’ve not implemented any. procrastination? maybe, but I really don’t think so. I’ve been so tired that my tired has been tired too! however, I’m here now; Well rested and ready to transition from “BSc holder” (because your girl has bagged a degree) to “hot girl fall/autumn” seeing as summer is more than halfway gone.

Tip 1: complementary shades of the same Colour goes a long way!

Todays fit screams power and I’m definitely here for it. if you’ve ever wondered how to style monochromatic looks then this is the article for you.

Tip 2: accessories go a long way, it doesn’t have to be expensive example the hair clips.

Before anything else, monochromatic outfits are outfits with varying tones of one colour. simply put, they’re outfits with the same colour but the colours can vary in how dark or light they are. This look can turn into a hot mess real quick but the key is to accessorize with complementary colours. Your bag, makeup and even jewellery colours must not be distracting in order to still keep the main focus on the outfit. For my fit, I paired the sage green cold shoulder dress from PLT ( pretty little thing), the neon strapped heels from PLT with my cream and mint green bag from ( @shop_debonair)

Notice how the main Colour is green just in different shades.

Lastly, don’t forget to be confident while at it because theres no accessory better than panache.

Last tip: keep it classy. usually, less is more when it comes to monochromatic looks!

My outfit and accessories are all linked below Incase you want to get them. You’re welcome!

The way I’m looking at you right now because you’ve not left a comment under this post.
