Lessons from 2k17

As the year is gradually winding up I’ve decided to write on the lessons I’ve learnt this year but first allow me to say thanks to all of you beautiful people that have been keeping up with me and my boring posts (yep I said that). I’m currently typing this post in my pyjamas and cuddling my duvet because this harmattan didn’t come to play. So 2017 was a wonderful year for me, I’ve loved and I’ve been shown love. This year I decided to start blogging fully and from April till now it has been a journey of understanding myself, finding myself and loving myself. Let me explain; at the beginning of this year I asked that this year be my best year yet and tbh (to be honest) it’s been good. I’ve grown so much.

My reason for starting this blog was that I needed a place to vent ( good vents and bad ones too) and along the line I decided oh why not put a little of me out there you know by showing my outfits and all that good stuff. So that was what I did, Along the line though I realised that I was too rigid. Uploading posts just about outfits no fun included, I felt as though my personality was not infused in my posts and I tried to fix that, I’m still trying.

This year also I realised that you can’t make people care about you and also that your greatest supporters are those you don’t even expect. Above all, this year has taught me that by supporting and uplifting others you gain more than you think.

Finally without God we’re all just living a pointless life. Having a relationship with your creator is very essential. I’ve had the most amazing time this year and I’ve also had bad times but regardless of that it’s been a good one.

In 2018 I hope to grow beyond my expectations and I know that it can only get better. One thing I’d definitely advise you on though is that if you want to start something then go ahead don’t procrastinate just do it.

3. Have so much fun it’s going to be unreal (lol)

5. Exceed my expectations for my life goals.
